PARTIES

Courses are provided by Global Education Explore Ltd t/a Lead Academy. Throughout the terms and conditions that follow, “we,” “our,” and “us” will refer to Global Education Explore Ltd t/a Lead Academy. “You” and “your” will be used to refer to the customer.

GENERAL

This page outlines the terms and conditions under which we provide you with an online or classroom course. Any purchases made from Global Education Explore Ltd t/a Lead Academy will be subject to these terms.

  1. 1.1 All liability for the use of your online account lies with you. We will not be held liable for improper access to your account resulting from the sharing of passwords or login details or any improper activity conducted through your account. If you lose or forget your login details, please get in touch with us immediately.
  2. 1.2 All information you provide to us should be complete and up-to-date, to the best of your knowledge. This includes your name, bank details, address and other contact information.
  3. 1.4 We reserve the right to suspend or otherwise terminate your access to our online learning platform at any time if you breach these terms. We will not terminate or cancel a purchase without reason, and you will not be charged for orders made cancelled due to other reasons.
  4. 1.5 We reserve the right to delete, modify, or otherwise amend any information contained within our courses or on our site at any time without prior notice.

2. PAYMENTS

  1. 2.1 If you fail to make payments or your payment information expires, we will immediately suspend your access to our online learning platform until the issue is resolved.
  2. 2.2 We reserve the right to change the price of our courses at any time. However, any changes will not affect purchases which have already been made prior to the change.

3. ORDER AND DELIVERY OF THE COURSE

  1. 3.1 Any purchase made from Global Education Explore Ltd t/a Lead Academy is deemed to constitute an agreement to complete the course in accordance with these terms.
  2. 3.2 You will have been deemed to have accepted the course upon purchase, except in the case of an obvious defect or error in the materials. However, nothing in these terms and conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.

4. SERVICES

  1. 4.1 It is the sole responsibility of you to arrange the purchase and delivery of a certificate of achievement upon successful completion of the course. You will be eligible to order your certificate of achievement upon completion, but you will not receive it automatically.
  2. 4.2 Course materials are provided by their respective industry expert. While we endeavour to ensure the highest possible quality of study materials, the ultimate responsibility is with the course tutor.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

  1. 5.1 All intellectual property rights of the course materials are owned by their respective training providers or instructors.
  2. 5.2 Upon purchase of a course or package from Global Education Explore Ltd t/a Lead Academy, you agree not to share, replicate, copy, modify, adapt or otherwise disseminate any part of the course materials whose intellectual property rights remain with the training providers.
  3. 5.3 When granted access to our online courses, you agree that your login details will be kept secure and not shared with any other party. You agree not to share access to our courses with any other party and to comply with all terms set out in this agreement at all times. Failure to do so may result in the suspension and termination of your account.

6. THIRD PARTY CONTENT

  1. 6.1 At times, we provide links to materials from third-party websites relevant to your course subject. When you click these links, you agree that we are not responsible for the content of these sites or materials and cannot be held liable for any misadventure that may occur while accessing them.
  2. 6.2 Global Education Explore Ltd t/a Lead Academy is not responsible for the content provided by third parties. You should independently verify information gained from third-party sites, as we neither endorse nor guarantee its veracity or accuracy.
  3. 6.3 The security, privacy policies, and terms and conditions of third-party sites may differ from those of Global Education Explore Ltd t/a Lead Academy. The onus is on you to read and agree to the security, privacy policies and terms and conditions when accessing third-party sites.

7. SUBSCRIPTION PACKAGE

  1. 7.1 Price: The subscription package is only £99 for 12 months! This all-course access offer can't be used in conjunction with any other offer.
  2. 7.2 Course Access: As soon as you become our Limitless Learning member, you will gain access to our entire library of over 700+ courses. Please note that our premium courses or Ofqual-regulated courses are not included in this membership.
  3. 7.3 Certification: With this subscription package, you will gain access to our extensive library of over 700 courses. Not the accredited certificate.
  4. 7.4 A PDF certificate of completion: You can obtain a free PDF certificate of completion once you complete your course. To obtain a PDF certificate of completion, please don't hesitate to contact our customer support team at info@lead-academy.org.
  5. 7.5 Accredited Certification: To obtain an accredited certificate, an accreditation charge is applicable, as stated on the individual course page.
  6. 7.6 Renewal/Cancellation: Membership renews after 12 months. You can cancel your membership at any time from your account. Alternatively, you can also contact our friendly customer support team and cancel your membership. All of your completed courses will remain in your account for 12 months from your most recent payment date. You will also have access to your courses, and the certificate you will receive will remain valid.
  7. 7.7 Refund: You have the right to cancel your purchase and request a full refund within 14 calendar days following the date of purchase, as outlined in the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2020. Please note that if you have already completed more than two of your CPD courses, you are not eligible for a refund. Also, there is no refund will be granted or issued for any of your certificate orders.

8. BUNDLE OFFER

  1. 8.1 Price: The bundle offers products that are available already at a discounted price and can’t be used in conjunction with any other offer.
  2. 8.2 Course Selection: With the £75 offer for 5 courses, you will receive 5 CPD and IPHM-accredited courses. Please note that Ofqual-regulated courses and some premium courses are not included in the offer.
  3. 8.3 Certification: With the bundle offer products, you will gain access to CPD and IPHM-accredited courses, not for any specific accredited certificate.
  4. 8.4 A PDF certificate of completion: You can obtain a free PDF certificate of completion once you complete your individual courses. To obtain a PDF certificate of completion, please get in touch with our customer support team at info@lead-academy.org.
  5. 8.5 Accredited Certification: To obtain an accredited certificate for individual courses, an accreditation charge is applicable, as stated on the individual course page.
  6. 8.6 Refund: You have the right to cancel your purchase and request a full refund within 14 calendar days following the date of purchase, as outlined in the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2020. Please note that if you have already completed more than 20% of any course, you are not eligible for a refund. Also, there is no refund will be granted or issued for any of your certificate orders.

9. TERMINATION

  1. 9.1 We reserve the right to terminate your purchase, account, and the agreements set out in these terms and conditions at any time. Your account may be terminated if you are found to be in breach of the terms and conditions set out with regard to payment and intellectual property or improper access to your account.
  2. 9.2 You are also entitled to terminate your purchase, account, and the agreements set out in these terms and conditions at any time, as detailed in clause 10 (cancellation) below.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  1. 10.1 Any direct losses which arise from our negligence or any other cause shall be limited to the price of your course. This does not preclude liability in the event of death or personal injury, breach of the Consumer Protection Act 1987, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other matter for which it would be unlawful for us to exclude liability.
  2. 10.2 We are not liable for indirect losses or damage (including but not excluding loss of profits, data, revenue or opportunities) which you may suffer by using our services, whether the cause is found to be in breach of these terms or not.
  3. 10.3 Course information is subject to change at any time. We endeavour to ensure all information is accurate at the time of publication. We hold no responsibility for any changes to key information that occur during or after your study, and we are not liable for any losses incurred as referenced above.
  4. 10.4 We accept no liability for issues accessing the online learning platform which result from faults in your internet connection, network or related equipment.
  5. 10.5 Global Education Explore Ltd t/a Lead Academy reserves the right to amend prices, information and course materials at any time without informing you.

11. USE OF YOUR DATA

  1. 11.1 Any personal data we collect during your study will only be used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018. We will take the necessary measures to ensure the security of your data. Your personal information will only be shared with third parties with your express permission. However, we may use your contact details to contact you regarding any matters related to our courses.
  2. 11.2 Data provided by you during your study may be used to provide credit, prevent fraud, confirm your identity, or prevent money laundering.

12. CANCELLATION

  1. 12.1 You have the right to cancel your purchase and request a full refund within fourteen calendar days following the date of the purchase, as outlined in Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2020. Please note that if you have already completed more than 20% of your course or have already received the course certificate, you are not eligible for a refund. Also, no refund will be granted or issued for any of your Hardcopy/PDF certificates, transcripts, enrollment letters, or student ID card orders.
    Also, note that if you have enrolled in any accredited Functional Skills, ESOL, or any other courses regulated by Ofqual and have completed the initial assessment or diagnostic assessment for the course, you will not be entitled to a refund for your course.
  2. 12.2 Subscription Package: You have the right to cancel your purchase and request a full refund within fourteen calendar days following the date of the purchase, as outlined in Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2020. Please note that if you have already completed more than two of your CPD courses, you are not eligible for a refund. Also, there is no refund will be granted or issued for any of your certificate orders.
  3. 12.3 Official Exam: After making the payment for the official exam (for Ofqual-regulated courses), once Global Education Explore Ltd t/a Lead Academy has booked the exam with the awarding body, the learner will not be eligible for a refund.
  4. 12.4 Classroom-Based Course: Your classroom-based course booking is non-refundable. This means if you do miss your class, you will be very welcome to attend another course, but you will need to pay again. You can, however, postpone your booking for a later course as long as you provide us with 3 full working days’ notice via email at info@lead-academy.org. You can only do this once per booking.
  5. 12.5 Should you wish to cancel a purchase, you must contact us as soon as possible using the following email at info@lead-academy.org

13. INSTALMENT PLAN

  1. 13.1 You can use the instalment plan for the high-priced courses advertised as £150 or above. Please note that for Ofqual-regulated official exams, assignment-based courses, and face-to-face classroom-based live Zoom classes or classroom training courses, you must clear the instalment payment before booking the exam, receiving feedback for the assignments or attending the classroom-based courses or classroom training.
  2. 13.2 When utilising our partial payment option for the purchase of Single or bundle CPD-accredited courses or any subscription plans, please note that certificates will be issued only upon completion of all instalments.
