According to an investigation, work is the main source of stress, which can prevent people from giving their best work. The Mental Health First Aid Course is the standard training course for Mental Health First Aiders. The HSE guidance ‘First aid needs assessment’ refers to mental health in the workplace.
Successful learners completing this qualification will become a ‘First Aider for Mental Health’ and be able to utilise the skills and knowledge gained within their workplace and private life.
Mental Health First Aid
This training provides a comprehensive set of mental health first aid skills, that comply with HSE recommendations. It offers both the knowledge and the ability to handle emergency situations effectively and manage a variety of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and psychosis. It complies with the requirements necessary to support following Health and Safety (First aid) regulations.
By the end of the training, individuals will be equipped with the necessary skills required to become a mental health first aider and learn to provide immediate assistance and support to those in need at the workplace and personal life.
Learning Style
ZOOM Live Session
This 1-day classroom session will last for 6 hours, and it will be led by an expert trainer.
