Today, we’re going to learn the word “how” in sign language. Depending on the sentence, it can be used as an adverb, conjunction, or noun.
For example:
“How did the accident happen?”
“How” is used as an adverb in this example.
One of the most common misconceptions regarding sign language is that it is universal. That is not the case. In fact, there are between 138 and 300 different varieties of sign language in use today. But today, we will only discuss BSL or British Sign Language.

- Start with a normal posture.
2. Raise both of your hands.
3. Now tap one hand with the other, as in the picture above.
4. Say the word ‘how’ while you’re signing.
That’s the first version of the word. So, let’s now see the second version.
