• Managing patient anxiety and difficult-vein scenarios

Two assessments complete the course.

• Written: a small MCQ test to verify your knowledge of the theory — anatomy, equipment, correct draw order and safe practice.
• Practical: you carry out the procedure under your trainer’s direct observation. They assess each stage closely and mark your performance against the standard.
