Today, we will learn how to say “woman” in sign language. It is one of the most common words you will discover when learning sign language.
Similar to spoken languages, sign languages develop naturally from connections between groups of people. Geography and culture also significantly impact the development of sign languages. People who sign different languages cannot understand one another since the majority of sign languages don’t share their vocabulary with each other.

1. Start with a normal posture.
2. Now raise the index finger of your right hand and move it along your cheek.
3. Now, slowly bring your hand to your mouth.
4. Say the word ‘woman’ as you’re signing it.
That’s the first version of the word. So, let’s now see the second version.

3. Now rub your chest with your right hand, as shown in the picture above.
